Powering the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is a 3.8-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine. Thanks to the weight-optimised modular race exhaust system, the vehicle generates 460 hp at 7,500 revs per minute, ten horsepower more than its predecessor. Power is delivered to the rear axle via a race clutch and a Porsche Motorsport designed six-speed dog-type gearbox with a mechanical limited slip differential. For the first time in a Porsche makes cup race car, gear shifting is performed with paddle shifts on the steering wheel.
In the race department at Weissach, the suspension underwent modifications to ensure higher precision and more stability at high speeds. Compared to its predecessor, the wheelbase grew by 100 millimeters, improving handling at the limit. PorscheMotorsport also redesigned the single-piece 18 inch race rims with a central locking.
This 911 GT3 Cup (991) is track-ready and can be shipped worldwide. More details can be provided by the professionals at Kelly Moss Road and Race upon request.
