This 1971 Datsun 1600 SSS is a left-hand drive, numbers matching car with 128k km/80k miles and light modifications inspired by the East Africa Safari endurance rally Datsuns of the early 1970s. The SSS was a performance model not originally sold in the United States and come equipped with a dual-carb L16 engine along with a street cam, JDM trim and instrumentation. This particular Datsun was recently imported from Portugal. Complete with rally-inspired touches like a high stance over period wheels and tires, a skid plate and bumper steps. The car was the subject of a previous Road and Track feature and is now available in the US with a clear Virginia title.
